Wanna wear something special for the big, red day, but aren’t into skirts? How about a jumpsuit? They cut a mighty fine silhouette, are fresh, funky and are feminine without being girly. Also, with Cape Town winds, they’re kinda practical.
I’ve loved my different iterations of Isabel de Villier’s jumpsuits over the seasons, but truly, this one is my best yet. The legs are slightly wider, which I prefer, and it’s just proportioned perfectly and sits beautifully.
The fabric is lovely and thick and heavy, which adds a little extra to the confidence bank, and I adore the low ‘V’ at the back – just low enough to be sexy, without revealing bra strap (which, let’s be real, I can’t go without).
I went for simple and sleek here – some killer heels and bold jewelry, but I think it would rock with something even brighter and chunkier around the neck, and I’d love to try styling with a few feature belts too. Hmmmmm…..
